What is ARUBA DOET? | ARUBA DOET

Volunteers are the beating heart of many social initiatives. CEDE ARUBA and Oranje Fonds show with ArubaDoet how important active citizens are for society. Not a volunteer yet? During Doet you can experience how much fun volunteering can be. For organizations, it’s a great opportunity to get some extra work done — and of course, to attract new volunteers! Doet takes place every year on the 3rd weekend of May. In 2026, that will be on May 15 & 16.

About Oranje Fonds

Oranje Fonds works towards a society where everyone can participate and no one is left alone. We strive for an involved society: where people care for each other, have equal opportunities, and feel connected to their community. We do this by supporting and connecting social initiatives. Social initiatives can apply to Oranje Fonds for financial support or take part in one of our programs, such as Cariben Doet. We provide not only funding, but also knowledge and access to our network. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima are the patrons of Oranje Fonds.

General information

We are happy to keep the press informed about the preparations and progress of DOET. The support of the press is greatly appreciated each year by the DOET TEAM and all participating organizations.

The DOET TEAM regularly sends out press releases and schedules interviews. This way, you can hear directly from organizations, companies, and volunteers about their experiences with DOET.

During the event days, the press is warmly welcome. We also provide an overview of all projects, so you can see them for yourself.

Centro pa Desaroyo Aruba

CEDE ARUBA is a development and co-financing organization that supports the development and financing of programs and projects in the field of welfare in Aruba. These programs and projects are brought up and realized by non-governmental organizations (ngo’s) that put their effort in the improvement of welfare provisions in the Aruban community. CEDE ARUBA helps NGO’s with the development and financing of all kinds of durable projects.
