At our school we have an outdoor shelter where the children eat lunch and play in the afternoon. When it rains, it leaks, and it doesn’t drain the water properly, causing it to fall directly onto our students. There are 10 pieces of rotted plywood, and the asphalt layer on top is no longer intact. We want to replace these so our children can have a fresh, safe outdoor space to enjoy during their break.

Our volunteers will help with the following tasks:
Assemble and repair the roof of the shelter, replacing the damaged plywood and applying a new top layer.
General cleaning of the yard/area to create a clean and healthy environment.
Painting parts of the structure to give the space a fresher and more open atmosphere.
