Fundacion Arubano di esnan Visualmente Incapacita (FAVI) is the only foundation in Aruba dedicated to supporting people with visual impairments. FAVI provides services for both children and adults, helping them break out of isolation and bring joy into their lives. We promote social inclusion, independence, accessibility, and well-being to improve the quality of life for people with visual impairments.
Kayak pa Tur is an inclusive activity where FAVI clients experience being on the water together with a volunteer in a tandem kayak. The volunteer gives clear verbal instructions, ensures safety, encourages movement, builds confidence, and helps participants fully enjoy the beauty of nature.
