Fundacion Arubano di esnan Visualmente Incapacita (FAVI) is the only foundation in Aruba dedicated to supporting people with visual impairments. FAVI provides services for both children and adults, helping them break out of isolation and bring joy into their lives. We promote social inclusion, independence, accessibility, and well-being to improve the quality of life for people with visual impairments.
FAVI x Aruba Doet Goes to Rising Sun Ranch will be a day full of joy, unity, and communication. Volunteers, FAVI clients, and members of the community will come together to enjoy activities such as bollas crioyo, water games, a mini quiz, and social moments in a positive and inclusive environment. The event helps strengthen relationships, create special memories, and highlight the importance of volunteer work and support for people with visual impairments.

The volunteers have several important roles during the day. They guide and support the FAVI clients during the activities and help explain and participate during the games and the mini-quiz. They also assist with logistics, such as setting up, cleaning up and packing up materials at the location. In addition, some volunteers take care of food and drinks, while others ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. Finally, volunteers capture the special moments of the day by taking photos and videos.
