Project Description
We are second-year students at the University of Aruba collaborating with FCCA to organize a community volunteer
initiative in the Sero Patrishi neighborhood as part of the Aruba Doet program. The project focuses on improving shared outdoor play spaces, including the soccer field, basketball field, playground, sandbox, and the pathway connecting the two fields. This project consists of 2 days. May 15 includes mural preparations for painting, cleaning, and mowing the grass (chapi). May 16 includes painting murals and other areas and also a logo designed by a young resident. Through this initiative, we aim to bring volunteers, youth, and community members together to enhance the environment and strengthen community pride. Be part of a meaningful project!

About Univeristy of Aruba & FFCA
Our volunteers will come together to clean, paint, mow lawns, and restore two fields this aims to strengthening community pride while creating. safer, brighter space for families, youth, ar neighbors.
Tasks for Volunteers on May 15:
- Cleaning/throwing trash away
- Clearing and mowing the grass (chapi)
- Scraping and sanding surfaces, preparing (prime) walls, fences, goals, gazebo, and plant pots for painting
- Help installing durable goal nets
- Distributing refreshments and snacks
- And contributing to a positive environment and supporting each other.
With kids, we mean above the age of 12; they can help out with throwing trash away and distributing drinks. Those older can help with the other tasks as well.
