Aruba Doet Peace Labyrinth Project 2024
The Aruba Peace Labyrinth is hidden behind the known Alto Vista Chapel. Since its establishment in 2005, it has been a beautiful place for contemplation, reflection, prayer, and relaxation.
Crafted with much dedication by a community of passionate volunteers, the labyrinth has evolved over the last 19 years into a symbol of serenity. In 2019, we participated for the first time in Aruba Doet, a collaboration that played a crucial role in further nurturing the labyrinth and its surrounding garden with native trees and plants.
We warmly invite you to become a volunteer for the 2024 Aruba Doet Peace Labyrinth Project, where we'll be working on:
• Garden Magic: Trim branches and clear weeds to preserve the enchantment of the labyrinth.
• Path Renewal: Reshape paths and the Roset of the labyrinth.
• Nature's Care: Remove weeds and trim trees, fostering natural beauty.
• Signs of Peace: Restore the Peace Pole and signage, protecting the essence of the labyrinth.
If you'd like to participate in the Aruba Doet Peace Labyrinth project, please register through this website. Be aware that it's an outdoor event, so dress appropriately for the sun, and if you can bring gardening tools, it would be greatly appreciated.
Afterwards, you can also walk the Peace Labyrinth—a pilgrimage short in steps but immeasurable in meaning. Join us in preserving this green sanctuary for generations to come.
